Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the front office to ensure efficient functioning of the team
  • Responsible for coaching Front Office team members to ensure services rendered are effective, efficient and comply with the Hotel’s standard
  • Develop operations plans and monitor room inventory
  • Collaborate with various departments on operational requirements
  • Plan and schedule Front Office team duty roster and forecast projected occupancy for Front Office Manager’s approval
  • Ensure Front Office team comply with work ethics and grooming standards to all policies, and procedures determined by the Hotel
  • Handle guests’ concerns and feedback tactfully and follow-up on corrective actions if required
  • Ensure the general cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel premise
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

  • Diploma in Hospitality or Tourism, or a related field will be advantageous
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the hotel industry, especially the Front Office
  • Matured and positive individual, capable of multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Well-groomed and upholds a professional nature outlook
  • Able to commit to rotating shifts including public holidays and weekends
  • Good knowledge of MS Office programs
